Among the many projects that HML have completed, there have been large number of motorway and roadside service stations. These services provide shopping, rest and a variety dining offers, together with ample parking for cars, coaches and HGV’s.
HML act as main contractor on all of these specialist projects. The projects have included demolition of existing, refurbishment of dilapidated stores, installation of underground tanks and new build of forecourts and multiuse service stations.
The works included all civil engineering, deep drainage installation, waste water & attenuation systems, service diversions, reinforced concrete substructure, roadmaking & finishing works together with the construction and fit out of the building.
These works were mostly completed adjacent to a live motorway or on live sites with restricted access so safety is paramount. All tie-in works to the exist motorways are carried out including any required traffic management during the projects.
